| Purpose: | The EEU is a self-supporting business oriented towards environmental services based at the Univeristy of Cape Town. It is at the forefront of South African and international developement in environmental evaluation, impact assessment and management, and environmental training. |
| Illustrative Project: | Designed and ran a short course for academics from universities in Southern Africa to attempt to assist them to run their own short courses on various aspects of environmental management on a commercial, cost-effective basis. The academic institutions represented were from Botswana, Malawi, Namibia,Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. |
