| Purpose: |
The purpose of our organization is to help to improve the health needs of the people especially HIV/AIDS; to assist the disabled and the aged; to assist in the fight against deforestation, desertification and widespread environmental degredation; to solicit financial assistance for the rural communities particularly women to enable them to improve their small scale businesses. |
| Illustrative Project: |
We recently held a workshop on the aged in the central region of Ghana for over five hundred participants at Agona Swedru. We taught them on good eating habits, personal hygiene, etc. We followed it up with a working visit whereby we arranged for an eye specialist to screen their eyes and spectacles were issued to them free of charge. The result of these workshops were that some of the aged are now able to read clearly and go about their normal jobs without difficulty. |
