Work with people and institutions to improve food security, improve nutritional and health status, enhance leadership and self-help capacities of poor women and develop a self-financing program to efficiently and effectively deliver credit and education services to poor women. |
| Illustrative Project: |
Freedom from Hunger collaborated with Brakwa Breman Rural Bank to extend credit and education to rural women. Today, through training, the bank is able to implement effectively program methodology to reach out to our 1200 members in 40 women's groups. Apart from making credit available, women's businesses have been enhanced and knowledge on health has been increased. |
