| Purpose: |
WISDOM aims at mobilizing women at the grassroots level and setting up into Functional Groups; providing services related to the enhancement of their economic and social status, the introduction of numeracy and literacy programmes, the acquisitions of skills for sustainable development, and to create a network between groups in the rural and urban areas. |

WISDOM's Indigenous Lending and Savings Society (WISS): This banking wing of WISDOM is committed to fighting poverty, and to making its members financially capable. It also provides facilities for savings, credit and microfinance. |
