| Purpose: |
To provide a forum for NGOs to meet, discuss issues of common interest and share information with each other; promote capacity building of local organizations; represent NGO interests and present a collective NGO voice in relations with government, donors and other partners; provide information to NGOs on policy and advocacy issues at national, regional and international levels. |
| Illustrative Project: |
TANGO has over 50 individual NGO members in its network. Training/capacity building has been carried out with local NGOs in strategic planning, financial management and resource mobilization. TANGO members have carried out seminars on voter education, conflict resolution, etc. |
