Office of the Special Adviser on Africa
Purpose: To disseminate the idea of dialogue and democratic culture and thereby promote and accelerate the process of direct democracy; to preserve peace, freedom, equality and inculcate the culture of democracy and fundamental human rights; to educate the members on the concept of Rule of Law and Human Rights and work towards the betterment and evolution of the parliamentary system towards direct democracy; to promote political and ideological dialogues among the intellectuals, political militants and other social groups; to build the capacity of the civil society and actively involve the people in the development process of their communities.
Illustrative Project: Several workshops have been held in Mauritius on globalisation in the third world and the new world order. Also organized seminars for youth on peace and effective communication.
