| Purpose: | To protect and advance the interests of all disabled in Mauritius; to consider and pass comments on actual or impending legislation in Mauritius affecting disabled people, and to apply for, petition for, or to promote any act of parliament or other legislative enactment desirable for the betterment and enhancement of the full participation of disabled people. |
| Illustrative Project: | Integrating handicapped children in to normal schools. Creating a day care center for handicapped children between the ages of 3 and 15. Creation of a literacy class for the Physical Welfare Association. |
