| Purpose: | The reserve aims at promoting conservation of wildlife and nature in general. It also promotes environmental education. |
| Illustrative Project: | There is a range of wild animals and indigenous plants in the reserve. There is an education center which accomodates 80 students at a time. From the educational programmes developed, we have students and teachers coming in to learn about environment. 5,000 students and 2,000 tertiary and teachers visited the reserve last year. Another 3,000 independent people also visted the reserve. |
