| Purpose: | A non-governmental organisation in the book sector, which fosters UNESCO's long term goal for Africa - facilitating the creation of National Book Development Councils in respective African countries as coordinating organs for the implementaion of book policies and book development strategies. |
| Illustrative Project: | Political Process: The book sector in Cameroon is disorganised. Our seminars, workshops,conferences and advocacy activites have helped to draw the attention of the government to see the need to enact book policies and create a Book Development Council for Cameroon. We believe in the application of book development strategies for long-term fight against illiteracy, ignorance, disease, poverty and wars (hindrances to development) in Africa. |
