| Purpose: | WORDAPA is committed to women development, particularly the promotion and protection of women's de jure and 'de facto' rights. |
| Illustrative Project: | The women against violence (WAVE) project raises awareness and consciousness in the communities on violence against women, explains causes and teaches coping and avoidance mechanisms / skills. Legal services and assistance as well as micro-credit are also available to support this project. Other components of the project are counseling, seminars and workshops, legal education handbooks and pamphlets. |
