| Purpose: |
To promote the knowledge of Botswana's rich wildlife and its environment through education and publicity; to encourage and in some cases, finance research into issues related to creating these resources and their conservation; to promote and support policies of conservation of wildlife and its habitat. |
| Illustrative Project: |
Co-organized national conference together with the department of wildlife and national parks "Conservation and Wildlife Management in Botswana - Strategies into the 21st Century". The five day conference brought together over 400 people from Government, NGOs and the Private Sector. 40 recommendations resulted from the conference, and these will be forwarded to the government with individual action plans. |
