Purpose of the organization: African Heritage Foundation Nigeria is a non-profit organization championing the cause of African heritage culture,and tradition both in Africa and Diaspora and will strive to bring people of African descent together under a forum of social and cultural interaction. And to instill/restore self-supporting livelihood to people striking with hardship due to conflicts/disasters wherein use education, corporate experience and love to make profound changes in the lives of people and to commit a practical demonstration and display of universal human love upon which human essence is founded,particularly on humanitarian and charitable related activities.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: The African Heritage Foundation Nigeria in the year 2012 partook in agitation for passing of Bill for disable persons at the National Assembly in Nigeria,in support of the motion raised by the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Alh. Umaru Tanko Al-Makura who still currently the governor of the State. In the year 2013, the African Heritage Foundation Nigeria organized a programme tagged "Entertainment of Physically Challenge in Nigeria" aimed at raising found to cater for disable persons and to accommodate them in the society to avoid feeling of being stigmatized. In the sane year 2013 the AHFN proposed "African Knight Award" in humanity to honor the above named governor for his commitment in ensuring the passing of the Bill for disable persons in Nigeria. Recently the AHFN enjoined Nigerian who hails the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for his appointment of a disabled person as Senior Assistant on Disable Matters.
Confirmation of the activities of the organization at the regional, national or international level: The AHFN sent relief materials to Jos, Northern Nigeria in 2010 to relief people that were affected by ethnic crises in region. In 2014 we sent materials to the Little Saint Orphanage Homes in Lagos to bring succor to the children of people affected by insurgency around Nigeria. The Foundation was integrated in addressing the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the shattered communities in the North-East, Nigeria recently. The AHFN Consultant-in-Chief attended the climate change conference in Paris for African Heritage Foundation Nigeria to improve education and institutional capacity in climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning in such a way that will reflect on our work internationally.

Description of the membership of the organization, indicating the total number of members: As a non-profit organization, African Heritage Foundation Nigeria has its members cut across race, ethnicity, creed and gender. it also has a trust or association of members and is controlled by the members who then elect the Board of Trustees (BOTs) we have two hundred and fifty members who are subject to renewal of their membership.
