| Purpose of the organization: |
ACSVI was established in April 15, 1992 to provides an opportunity for individuals in the fields of Human Services and Social Pedagogy to enhance their national and international professional resume by gaining experience in an established non-profit organization in Africa and beyond. ACSVI promotes an educational and professional exchange experience for all volunteers and aims to enhance cultural awareness, mutual understanding and international cooperation. This is achieved through the hands on learning, relationship building, and sharing of experiences that occurs when volunteers collaborate side by side with professionals in the World. |
