Affiliation with other organizations: The Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) is small territory component with three hill districts known as Rangamati, Khagrachari and Bandarban, located in southeast corner of Bangladesh where border between India and Myanmar is. There are 11 ethnic indigenous groups collectively known as Jumma people. They are namely as, Bawn, Chak, Chakma, Khumi, Kyang, Lushai, Marma, Mro, Pangkhua, Tanchangya and Tripura. Jumma peoples are indigenous peoples in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) of Bangladesh and ethnic and religious minority community as well in Bangladesh. Jumma peoples are remarkably different from Bengali majority of Bangladesh by ethnic, physical appearance, religion, culture and languages. They have their own life style and speak different languages. By religion, mainly practice Theravada Buddhism, others Hinduism, Catholics, Christian and some are animists.
