Affiliation with other organizations: Mosquitia Asla Takanka represent the Miskitu indigenous people of Honduras integrated by 12 territory councils that are integrated by 254 community councils that represent around 120,000 indigenous. Located on the eastern site of Honduras, in the Gracias a Dios department. The general assembly is the highest authority within the Miskitu People who rules the strategic decision on the organization conform by the community council represents. The general asambly elect a board of directors, currently has a 14-member board structure. Also they choose a commissions of transparency commissions , land, education , health, gender , youth , natural resources , culture, etc.
