If yes, explain in detail: As an organization, CAP has collaborated with many NGOs/CSOs in different areas of advocacy including environment, poverty, population, democracy and peace building amongst: a. On December 4th 2014, the organization collaborated with the Youth For Transparency International (YTI) and the American Consulate, Lagos in hosting the 5th Democracy, political participation conference. Theme: Transparency and Accountability: Achieving Participatory and Sustainable-Good-Governance. b. Our organisation joined hands with the United Nations Information Centre, Lagos (UNIC) to host a one-day symposium on the 2015 general election in Nigeria and citizens RIGHT TO PEACE. The event which held at UNIC Lagos office had in attendance distinguished Senator Ganiu Solomon, Nollywood Actor Desmond Elliot, Human Rights Lawyer, Adeola Austin Oyinlade and the UNIC, Lagos Information Officer Mr. Seyi Soremekun. c. Towards the 48th Session of the the UN Commission on Population and Development which held in New York between 13th and 17th April 2015, our organisation in collaboration with the United Nations Information Centre, Lagos once again hosted a Nigerian Sector Roundtable on the 2nd of April 2015. In attendance at this event was the Secretary National Population Commission, Mr. Tayo Oyetunji, Head, Lagos Office of UNFPA Dr. Omolaso Omosehin, Star musician Mr. Tee Mac Itseli, PA to Governor Of Lagos State Mrs. Chinyere Anokwuru, Executive Secretary NASME Mr. Eke Ubiji and the Managing Director LAWMA Mr. Ore Oresanya. d. Our organisation celebrated flagship peace building event for the 4th year running. The annual LAGOS BEACH HALF MARATHON at the Elegushi private beach 2015 was hosted in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations Organisation with very many partners and athletes in attendance. The event according to the National Director of CAP was held to provide a new platform for sports, recreation, tourism and charity as a vehicle for peace building. This year’s event had a lot of partners including UNIC LAGOS, VCN Sports, Old School Event Centre, A&P Nig. Ltd amongst others.
