As the largest Black Country in the World;, Nigeria can boast of the largest number of black women in the world. The League of women Voters of Nigeria embodies all women of voting age in Nigeria either as ordinary members, Associate or Affiliate members. Many of the women NGOs in Nigeria are affiliated to the League or join straight as individuals because we all believe that together we can - we can make the difference needed for a better democracy and society in Nigeria and a better life not only for Nigerian Women but also for our children and families using the power of our votes. The League is made up of a number of Association who have in the past participated in UN Activities and Conferences/ Forums but today dissolved all names and fused into the name - League of Women Voters of Nigeria. We appeal to UN Agencies to work in partnership with the League to build a better Nigeria |
