Involved with UNAIDS especially in preparation for World AIDS Day. Up until 2015, WACI Health, formerly known as World AIDS Campaign (WAC) led a global processes of determining the World AIDS Day theme. Also works closely with the UNAIDS in preparation for AIDS Conferences. This includes, for example, scouting for community speakers from the Africa region for various sessions of the conference. United Nations General Assembly Special Session on HIV and High Level Meeting on HIV. Our involvement is on mobilising CSOs in the Africa region towards a common position on HLM HIV or HLM TB through regional consultations.
