The Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia is actively working with the Muslim community, organizing charity events, sports and religious events, educational lessons, implements socially significant projects. Assembly fruitfully interacts with the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation, Plenipotentiary Representatives of the President of the Russian Federation in all federal districts, the leadership of the State Duma and the Council of Federations, the Foreign Ministry of Russia, the Government of Moscow, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the heads of all traditional confessions of the Russian Federation. Particularly constructive relations developed with the Russian Orthodox Church - joint decisions were developed on countering pseudo-religious extremism, working with young people, holding religious holidays, building religious objects, and cooperating with international organizations. In the field of prevention of extremism and international terrorism, a series of methodological recommendations on countering pseudo-religious extremism has been issued within the framework of the implementation of the State National Policy Strategy until 2025 and the Strategy for Countering Extremism in the Russian Federation until 2025 approved by the President of Russia. Video-audio materials on the prevention of xenophobic and extremist sentiments in Russian society are being released, preventive work is being done in social networks on counter-propaganda and explaining the aggressive policies of ISIS, confronting the ideology of recruitment among young people. Issues of interaction and countering international terrorism were repeatedly discussed at official meetings in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation with delegations of Islamic scholars from the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Indonesia, Morocco, Uzbekistan, etc., as well as at international conferences and symposia at the OSCE, UN, and Eurasian Islamic Organization sites, Syrian Arab Republic. Within the framework of international cooperation, the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia concluded bilateral agreements with the Ministry of Vakufs of the Syrian Arab Republic, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, and DLT for Education and Training, which is the general contractor of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO). These agreements are aimed at the development and strengthening of fraternal relations, the implementation of joint projects, the fight against discrimination based on ethnic and religious grounds, pseudo-religious extremism and terrorism. Representatives of DSMR systematically take part in international conferences and symposia on inter-religious dialogue, religious education and human rights at the OSCE (Warsaw, Strasbourg), UN (Geneva, New York), Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Islamic Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) of the Eurasian Islamic Organization (Turkey). Representetives of the Assembly as part of the delegation of the inter-religious working group of the Council on Cooperation with Religious Associations under the President of the Russian Federation repeatedly visited the Syrian Arab Republic as part of humanitarian actions and humanitarian aid.
