Social Development

Purpose of the organization: An Autonomous local government system based on the rule of law, Ghanaian culture and tradition.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: We run projects that asked for the rights of the disabled to vote and also have the right to ask for accountability of their monies that is given to them by government.
Confirmation of the activities of the organization at the regional, national or international level: Funds were from Star Ghana Foundation and French embassy in ghana to ask for accountability of the disability fund that is given by government and also see to it's proper utilisation. TEERE also had funds from the Robert bosch foundation in Germany to run a project for two years and that was on citizen participation in local governance. TEERE also got funding from the Germany Embassy in ghana to support women in irrigation in the Bongo District of the upper East Region. There was also funds from Star Ghana foundation to campaign for people to vote , for its their right to vote to choose a leader in the 2016 elections.
