Activities
Capacity-building for young people
Agora Mexico has developed an intervention model for diagnosing and assessing on the needs of young people and other key population at a local level. This is the beginning of a process in which tools and services are provided, in order to develop leadership skills that give the opportunities for young people to create impacting activities for bettering up their communities. Peacebuilding and multiculturalism comprise the main axis on these activities.
Research materials
This organization serves as a platform for saying, writing, recording and publishing young people’s perspectives. Through a series of partnerships and collaborations with other civil society organizations, enterprises, governmental and inter-governmental institutions, we have been able to open-up participation spaces in media, politics and social projects.
Young people leading social and political opportunities
Once the needs have been detected, and tools facilitated, young people at intervened communities create or get involved in activities that have an impact on the social and political life of their communities. A key component of these activities is mainstreaming peacebuilding solutions within the implemented projects. We are developing a methodology for propelling these projects and advocate for evidence-based public policies. |
