    Organizational structure: The IFP is governed by shared principles: democratic governance, transparency and information sharing; and equal participation of its members.It promotes non-governmental diplomacy in order to monitor negotiations at national, regional and international levels, and to ensure civil society’s participation in decision-making processes and mechanisms of global governance.
    Number and type of members: The International Forum of National NGO Platforms consists of 62 National NGO Platforms, representing over 22.000 NGOs in the five continents.
