If yes, explain in detail: HRFP is member of NGO's Major Group at UN and in touch with UN in different ways; 1. HRFP's President Naveed Walter participated in HLPF 2016 and now participating in coming HLPF 2017 from Jul 10-19, 2017 at UN,NY. 2. In March 2017, HRFP's President was invited by UN Geneva as Guest Speaker on Christians/Religious Minorities Persecutions in Pakistan and he shared the ground stories and first hand experiences there. HRFP's representative will participate in the coming UPR session in November 2017 at UN, Geneva.
Affiliation with other organizations: - HRFP partnering with Global Human Rights Defense (GHRD), Netherlands having ECOSOC consultative status with UN. -HRFP partnering with Freedom House, USA. -HRFP partnering with different networks,intergovernmental organizations and research institutes. HRFP is a part of 2 major networks , 1. REAT Network Pakistan : Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP)is a member of REAT(Rights of Expression, Assembly, Association & Thought) Network Pakistan.The donor of REAT is The Asia Foundation ( USA). In the light of HRFP's vision for protection & promotion the rights of the religious minorities successfully launched “REAT Help Line (24/7)” having a toll free number (0800-0-9494) at district Faisalabad since 2013. REAT relates to ICCPR articles 18-22. When the REAT (Rights of Expression, Assembly, Association & Thought) violations complaints received through REAT Helpline, the desk resolve it through, Early Warning System: HRFP has an Early Warning System. In Case of any emergency, it immediately discussed with the concerned departments to recover the pre conflict situation. REAT Helpline desk has established the links between the organizations/institutions they may help them to control the issue with the help of community, HRD’s, authorities and HRFP team. Referral System: HRFP has a Referral System.The serious issues are immediately referred to concern departments and guide the victims to next steps. The REAT Helpline desk provides the counseling services for protection, shelter and to fulfill their other needs. Free Legal Aid: HRFP provide the Free Legal Aid services to cases come under the criteria of REAT violations, after fact findings. The victims also visit HRFP office and share complete information with legal advisors. 2. CRMP ( Colition for the Rights of Minorities Pakistan) Network Pakistan:
