The board is the managing body. It should comprise 5 members at least, elected for 3 years. Mandates can be renewed. It defines the strategy, and supervises the programmes and activities. In September 2011, it comprises 9 members. 2. The General Assembly meets at least once a year. Its decisions are taken by majority vote of 3/5ths of voting members present. It approves the accounts. It designates the Accounts Revisor (revision organ). Subscribing members are entitled to vote at the General Assembly. Around 60% contribute actively to the activities of Grains of Peace. In addition, there are volunteering members, who by definition, are active in Grains of Peace. 3. The Accounts Revisor presents each year his/her Accounts Verification Report to be approved by the General Assembly. 4. The organisation comprises three paid staff : - The General Secretary who organises the events and activities, and coordinates the work of the staff, the interns and the volunteers. - The Education Program Manager who pilots the pedagogical activities (creation of educational tools, organization of the training and the school mandates, management of the interns and volunteers that take part in these). - The Manager for International Development. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- French text: La structure de Graines de Paix se compose comme suit : 1. Le Comité est l'organe directeur composé de 5 membres au moins, élus pour 3 ans renouvelables. Il définit la stratégie, et supervise les programmes et activités. En septembre 2011, il comprend 9 membres. 2. L'Assemblée Générale se réunit au moins une fois par an. Elle prend les décisions à la majorité des 3/5èmes des membres votants présents et approuve les comptes. Elle désigne l'organe de révision pour vérification des comptes. Les membres cotisants ont un droit de vote à L'Assemblée Générale. Environ 60% contribuent de façon active aux activités de Graines de Paix. S'y ajoutent les membres-bénévoles qui sont, par définition, actifs dans Graines de Paix. 3. L'organe de révision présente chaque année son rapport de vérification des comptes pour approbation en AG. 4. L’organisation comprend trois responsables salariés : - La secrétaire générale qui met en place les événements et activités, et coordonne le travail du staff, des internes et des bénévoles. - Le responsable du programme Education qui pilote les activités pédagogiques (création des outils éducatifs, organisation des formations et des animations, gestion des bénévoles et internes qui y participent.) - La responsable du développement international. |
