We are not yet involved. However, the area of contribution will be in the domain of human/social/societal sustainable development, one of the three domains defined by the UN-Brundtland report of 1987, and the domain receiving less attention from the media et al.

1. International Peace Bureau (IPB)(Ecosoc status)
(Bureau International de la Paix (BIP).
We are members since 2009 and have been elected to the European Council in Sept. 2010.
The Disarmament for Development Program is its current focus. Our participation is related to the peace education aspects of this Program.
2. Initiatives of Change /Initiatives & Changement
We participate in their summer activities in Caux since 2005. In 2010, we were invited to take part in the Human Security Forum in Caux, where sustainable development questions were key. |

Grains of Peace is a peace education NGO focussing on Culture of peace development. It develops innovative educational tools and activities aimed at contributing to the human dimension of sustainable development, social integration, cultural understanding and the prevention of violence.

| Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: |
We are preparing a training program for school teachers and NGO staff to empower them to teach the human skills that contribute to a culture of peace. The first country who may benefit may be Cameroon.
