IDEAS for Us is a sustainable enterprise that has followed the snow-leaf model of organizing since our inception in 2008. We envisioned creating a grassroots movement at universities, K-12 schools and communities that help develop solutions to the integrated energy, economic, and environmental challenges we face Today.
IDEAS For Us is a 501c3 non-profit organization registered in the State of Florida. Our non-profit serves as a incubation hub and coalition for a network of IDEAS for Us leaders, chapters and partnerships across the United States and around the World.
In addition, IDEAS (Intellectual Decisions on Environmental Awareness Solutions) for Us chapters are registered student or community organizations at universities, K-12 schools or cities around the World. The focus is to Educate, Engage, Empower people of all ages in the 5 Pillars of Sustainability (Energy, Water, Food, Waste and Ecology) and provide a database of experiential learning activities that focus on Research (R&D), Action and Environmental Awareness.
Each IDEAS chapter is an autonomous organization of intellectuals, innovators and solution-driven leaders, working together under one coalition -- IDEAS For Us -- to share best practices, initiatives and connections that facilitate successful change and catalyzes a sustainable future for generations to come. |
