The Initiative brings all sectors of society to the table: business, governments, investors, community groups and academia. The United Nations is the ideal institution to convene this broad swathes of actors and forge common cause in support of three inter-linked objectives: -- Ensure universal access to modern energy services. -- Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency. -- Double the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix. |
