Mission statement:	Save Bakassi is an advocacy group which aims to draw the attention of the entire world to the unfair treatment that has been visited upon the ceded people of Bakassi peninsula with a view to ensuring that they receive a just treatment as enshrined in the United Nations Charter on Human Rights. Being mindful of the fact that every creature on earth has the inalienable right to a place of abode as designed in the master plan of nature it is hoped that the ceded people of Bakassi peninsula would be given a chance to decide their nationality as enshrined in Article 15 of the UN Charter on Human Rights.
