Publications: Our activities have been published in most of the major newspapers and news letters in Nigeria, especially our recently concluded 1st International symposium on Save Bakassi - Theme: Bakassi Beyond 10-10-12 "Before the Sunsets"
Purpose of the organization: Save Bakassi is an advocacy group which aims to draw the attention of the entire world to the unfair treatment that has been visited upon the ceded people of Bakassi peninsula with a view to ensuring that they receive a just treatment as enshrines in the United Nations Charter on Human Rights. Being mindful of the fact that every creature on earth has the inalienable right to a place of abode as designed in the master plan of nature it is hoped that the ceded people of Bakassi peninsula would be giving a chance to decide their nationality as enshrined in Article 15 of the UN Charter on Human Rights.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: Our activities are carried out within Nigeria and Cameroon. We are engaged in interactions and consultations with the aborigines of Bakassi peninsula with a view to understand their anxiety over what the future holds for them.
Confirmation of the activities of the organization at the regional, national or international level: Our activities can be accessed via our blog spot - http://savebakassi.blogspot.com/ also at our facebook page savebakassi@facebook.com and our twitter handle savebakassi.
