Organizational structure: |
ECLT Foundation brings together the tobacco growers (International Tobacco Growers’ Association) and the world major tobacco producing and manufacturing companies, which are represented on the Board of the Foundation. ECLT’s funding comes from the tobacco companies, many of which also sit on the steering committees of projects in country. The International Labour Organization and Save the Children Switzerland act as Board Advisors. The structure of ECLT can be described as follows: - The ECLT Board, composed of 14 registered Members, out of which three are Board Officers (President, Vice-President and Treasurer) - The ECLT Executive Director - The ECLT Secretariat, composed of 7 people divided into three departments (Project Implementation, Policy and Advocacy, and Operations and Finance). For the implementation of its Projects, ECLT Foundation funds implementing partners in the countries where it operates, among which: Winrock International (Tanzania), Save the Children Malawi, Save the Children Mozambique, Save the Children Zambia, UWESO (Uganda), Alliance on Protection of Child's Rights (Kyrgyzstan) and Defense of Children International (DNI) in Guatemala. Also, ECLT Foundation currently counts 5 National Advisory Committees to its 5 ongoing area-based projects bringing together all the public, private and community stakeholders involved in its projects. |

ECLT Foundation currently counts 14 registered voting members (tobacco leaf suppliers and major manufacturers of tobacco products) and the International Tobacco Growers Association (ITGA), and two Board Advisors: International Labour Organization and Save the Children Switzerland. Its Board also includes two honorary individual members (retired former board members) contributing pro-bono advice. |
