GEM is composed of teams from the Secretariat, Advisory Board and Governing Board working together in the development and implementation of international work programs on hazard, risk and social vulnerability model development, training, software development for seismic hazard and risk analyses, and international collaboration.
The Governing Board, composed of public, private and associate partners, is responsible for setting the overall technical and scientific direction of the organization with strategic inputs from the Advisory Board. The Secretariat, composed of management, support services, hazard, risk, social vulnerability, and information technology teams implements and ensures that work program outputs are delivered in a timely manner. |
