    Organizational structure: The Board is composed of: Thatcher Shellaby, President Thatcher Shellaby has more than 30 years’ experience in international management at Digital Equipment, Caterpillar and Management Centre. He is now an independent consultant. His mission is to help organizations successfully implement strategic projects. His previous jobs allowed him to share his leadership, development and project management skills. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and Economy at Yale University; a master’s degree from University of Berkeley; and holds a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD). Nara Luvsan Nara Luvsan is Senior Programme Officer in the UNDP Regional Office for Europe. Her work has focused on environmental issues and national strategies for poverty reduction, the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals, as well as programmes and ministry policies focusing particularly on low-revenue European countries and the Community of Independent States (CEI). For over 15 years, Nara has collaborated with the World Bank, UNICEF, UNHCR and the UNDP. Nara is an economist with a master’s in international public politics from Johns Hopkins University. Jyoti Sanghera Dr. Jyoti Sanghera is currently at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva serving as the Chief of Section on Human Rights and Social and Economic issues. Prior to this Dr. Sanghera was with OHCHR Nepal for over years, first as the Deputy Representative and subsequently as the representative of the High Commissioner in Nepal. Prior to Nepal she served in Sri Lanka where she was the Senior Human Rights Adviser for the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. Jyoti Sanghera is an expert on questions related to trafficking, migration and other human rights protection issues in relation to women, migrants, and other discriminated groups in conflict and post conflict situations. She has taught for several years in the Department of Women’s Studies in the University of Victoria in Canada. Dr. Sanghera has a Ph.D from the University of California, Berkeley, USA, and a Master’s degree in Women and International Development from the ISS, The Hague in The Netherlands, and another MA in History from the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. Philip Sargisson Philip Sargisson has 38 years of expertise in development, humanitarian and peace consolidation affairs in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America. From 1971 to 1991, Philip collaborated with the UNHCR. In 1991, Philip became an independent consultant, a position which has allowed him to work with several NGOs and intergovernmental organisations such as Interpeace, the International Migration Organisation, the Migration and Health International Centre, the Management Institute of Mongolia, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UNEP. He has also contributed to the foundation and direction of the United Nations Disaster Management Team (UNDMT). The Senior Management Team is the core of the organisational structure and is composed of: Julien Bettler Director Joep Slaats Head of Operations Manuel Pompeia Head of Partnerships Tej Hari Ghimire Head of Regional Office Gabrielle Ghitis Head of Finance Sophie Chaubaroux Head of Communication Staff: The Norlha team includes permanent staff in the Regional Office in Nepal (5), as well as, several multi-disciplinary experts and volunteers from several countries, residing in and out of Switzerland, totalising 50 persons.
