Mission statement:	STACO is a non-governmental, non-profitable and independent organization that is focused on the charity work and development of societies, whereas it works in sustained development, helping low income individuals, rendering aids in cases of emergencies to the personals who are affected by conflicts without discrimination or prejudice. Objectives of the Organization The Organization aims at operating as a model of the Islamic organization which groups between the deep-rootedness, creativity and professionalism in the field development and humanitarian aids with entire neutralism, professionalism and independence. The Organization seeks to all forms and types of the charitable deed, development of beneficence and devoutness deeds and deepening the spirit of affection and unity between the community members, supporting the State efforts in achieving the social solidarity. The Organization strives for realization of its objectives in these fields through the following activities: - 1. Provision of humanitarian, charitable, aid and health services to those poor, destitute and victims of natural catastrophes, famines and wars. 2. Provision of educational and pedagogical services and appealing to the Islamic communities. 3. Building of schools, hospitals, mosques and Holy Koran memorizing centers. 4. Protection of widows, sponsoring orphans, provision of material and educational care to them and concentration of the sons of the martyrs, protection of disabled, old-aged and those of special needs. 5. Contribution to lifting the sufferance from some poor Libyan families through provision of monthly salaries to them or annual or seasonal aids or assistance in establishment of small projects. 6. Contribution to achievement of the social solidarity status within the Libyan community. 7. Cooperation with charitable societies organizations and legal authorities inside and outside Libya. 8. Striving for transportation of the gifts and aids from the donors to their beneficiaries. 9. Entering into investment projects and commercial partnerships. 10. Organization of scientific and cultural activities, publication of research works , printed matters and studies related to the field of work of the Organization. 11. The Organization shall have, in general, the right to take all the means and resources to give effect to the efforts aiming at achievement of its objectives, presents the proposals which concern the citizen in the field of the Organization activity. It shall have the right to participate in any aspects with other bodies carrying on similar activities or works or to assist them to achieve their objectives, inside or outside Libya. It shall have the right to invest its funds in the fields and activities which generate 12. benefit to it, including lending and borrowing from banks and financial institutions in –country and abroad.
