Advocacy; promote government and people's interest in sustainable and healthy communities; conduct policy-oriented research on all aspects of human welfare and settlements; initiate demonstration community development projects; offer short-term training courses; promote networking among NGOs and CBOs. |
| Illustrative Project: |
Through the adoption of five model communities in three-states (Oyo, Osun and Ekiti) in Nigeria we now use laboratories to implement holistic community development strategies aimed at demonstrating poverty alleviation and citizen mobilization for sustainable development. |
