Purpose of the organization: We are set out as a vehicle for rural and community transformation through the holistic training of the youth and women in self-employment ventures, health and educational outreaches, empower them to ensure their active and proper participation in local governance and administration of social and support services, and advocate for transparency and accountability in all spheres of human endeavour through adherence to proper moral teaching and transformation. We function as a multi-sectoral body principally directing and co-ordinating the programmes and activities of members of various networks established in two main sectors, namely: civil society and the private sector with a view of forming strong partnerships to mobilise resources and expertise to undertake various tasks before our partner organisations and us in health, agriculture, education and industrial development among others.
Confirmation of the activities of the organization at the regional, national or international level: Our activities are grouped under four major headings, namely: a.Co-operative/Community (Rural) Development; b. Youth, Women and Children in Development; c. Health/Education/Agriculture; and d.Consultancy (Project concept/development, Project Management etc.). Our departments and programs are: a.Technological Resource Bank - TECHNOBANK; b. Co-operative Finance Institute - COFI; c.United Network Against HIV/AIDS in Africa - UNAHA; d.Health and Agriculture With Education - HAWE; e.Capacity Building and Manpower Training - CABMAT; f.Preventive AIDS Lifeline Micro-Credit Strategy ¿ PALM-S; g.The Green Journey Program - GreenJ; h.Ghana Malnutrition Annihilation Program ¿ Ghana-MAP; i. Productive Agricultural Linkages and Marketing Systems - PALMS; j.Sanitation, Water, Energy and Environmental Protection - SWEEP; k.Advocates for Good Governance and Gender Equality - AGAGE
