Affiliation with other organizations: For sustainable development, Fondo Acción has partnered with national and international organizations including Conservation International (CI), The Nature Conservancy (TNC), and the Colombian Corporation for participative and sustainable development of small farmers.
Publications: The handbook for sustainable farming (cattle)- 2011. Published in collaboration with the National Cattle Fund, GEF, World Bank, CIPAV, The Nature Conservancy (TNC).

Social Development

Affiliation with other organizations: The Latin American and Caribbean Network of Environmental Fund, REDLAC.
Purpose of the organization: Its mission is to set up an effective system of learning, strengthening, training, and cooperation through a Network of Environmental Funds aimed at contributing to the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources in Latin America and the Caribbean. RedLAC is a learning community integrated by 26 trust environmental funds that manage more than US$ 700 million in extinguishing, property and revolving funds, and have financed more than three thousand projects in the region.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: Each member fund carries out programs in its country, and together, the members have managed over 5.00 conservation projects and supported 495 protected areas since their establishment. RedLAC is also developing projects as a whole, presented as follows: Ecofunds Database, with the objective of organizing information on conservation investments in Andes Amazon region and making it available on an online portal, accessible to the general public (see www.redlac.org/ecofunds) (supported by the Gordon and Betty More Foundation and AVINA). RedLAc capacity Building Project for environmental funds, aims at strengthening member and non member funds in their operations and in the use of innovative financial mechanisms that reduce their dependency from international donations (supported by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and the French Fund for the Global Environment –FFEM).

A list of members of the governing body of the organization, and their countries of nationality: Between 2012 and 2014, the president of RedLAC will be José Luis Gómez, the Executive Director of Fondo Acción. The Secretariat will be held by Fondo Acción and presided by Ann Marie Steffa. There are 7 Executive Committee members, which rotate every 2 to 4 years. At present it is composed by funds from Costa Rica, Paraguay, Panama, Belize, Colombia, Bolivia and Peru.
Description of the membership of the organization, indicating the total number of members: At present, there are 26 members, all enviromental funds from Latin America and Caribbean countries. There are public, private and private/public funds in RedLAC.
