Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: ¿ Capacity Building and Networking Project (CBN Project) Imagine a global network of organizations working together for positive youth development around the world. Such a network exists and it lies at the heart of GADeF's mission. GADeF's Global Partner Network is currently made up of 175 partner organizations. These organizations work at the local and national level to strengthen and expand the reach of effective programs serving young people, while maximizing the impact of the youth sector as a whole. It is to engage young people in networking to gain leadership skills and build power in order to reach their full potential and contribute to positive social change. This involves network formation and leadership building among the youth in the communities. So that the youth will be ready to compete in the global economy, attracting corporate investment into the local economy by cultivating a well-trained workforce base from which multi-national and local companies can hire local leaders.Youth Platform and Forum Initiative Youth are the assets to national development and their participation in decision making in all kinds of national, regional and local activities should be encouraged. The presence of the mining company should be seen as an opportunity for development of the communities. Here, policies, frameworks and actions plans will be developed to support development agenda and success of business operations in the area. Adopt a strategic approach - activities will be most effective when aligned with long-term objectives and existing plans of all stakeholders. Ensure consultation and participation - the best designed plans will falter if there is insufficient trust and participation by all stakeholders. Work in partnership - organizations with different skills, but shared interests and objectives, can achieve more through working together. Strengthen capacity - programs that are likely to be more sustainable. Various platforms and forums will be initiated as a component of the this. These are;Children and Youth Conference on Natural Resources and Sustainable Development,Youth and Regional Budget Forum,Youth for Peace Forum
