If yes, explain in detail: CCAP is and has been a non-governmental observer organization in the UNFCCC process since 1992. CCAP has also been involved with UNEP and UNDP. Additionally we partner with the World Bank Institute on our Mitigation Action Implementation Network (MAIN).
Affiliation with other organizations: CCAP has been affiliated with the following NGOs through participation and partnerships: Climate Action Network, Climate Action Network – Europe, CLEAN, Low Emissions Development Strategies (LEDS) Global Partnership, Natural Resources Defense Council, Smart Growth America, Local Government Commission and the Tri-State Transportation Campaign. Through CCAP’s international programs, CCAP has been affiliated with the governments of Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama, Peru, Uruguay, China, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Pakistan through meeting participation, research and development, and partnerships. Academically, CCAP has been affiliated with Tsinghua University through partnership and research studies. Within the United States, CCAP developed the Urban Leaders Adaptation Initiative and worked in partnership with the states of California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Jersey, New York and Wisconsin. In addition, CCAP has been affiliated with the US DOT, US EPA, and HUD through technical and policy assistance. CCAP is currently an active member of the US National Academies of Science & Engineering Transportation Research Board, founding member of Climate Plan, partner and advisor to the UC Davis Urban Land Use and Transportation Center and serves on the steering committee of UC Davis Asilomar Conference on Transportation and Energy. CCAP-Europe is affiliated through partnership and participation with the following European organizations and governments: European Climate Foundation, Directorate-General Climate Action, Directorate-General Enterprise and Energy, European Dialogue, Transport of Environment, Friends of Earth, Greenpeace EU-unit, WWF-Brussels, The Prince of Wales EU Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change, European Papers Industry (CEPI), the Government of Germany, the Government of Netherlands, and the European Commission.
