Involvement in UN Partnerships: Yes
If yes, explain in detail: RIDF has participated in the CivilSociety Group meeting of UNEP. The Executive Director of RIDF has served twice as Chairman CivilSociety Society Meeting organized by UNEP i. In 2003 and in 2006,RIDF Executive Director was elected Chairman of the Global Multi-stake holder Forum in Nairobi.
Affiliation with other organizations: RIDF is affiliated to African Civil SocietyGroup. It is also affiliated to Obafemi Awolowo University,Nigeria, LEAD Anlophonr West Africa. RIDF Executuve Director also served as a Negotiator for Finance as a member of the Nigerian Official Delegate to COP 16 in cancun,Mexico and COP 17 in Durban, SouthAfrica in 2010 and 2011 respectively. He took an active part in the design of the Green Climate Fund in COP 17.
