Affiliation with other organizations: In Nigeria, Ghana and Togo we work with indigenous peoples and communities in several states of the federation. Our largest focus group has been the Gbabyi also known as the Gwari in Northern Nigeria. They form the largest indigenous group in the federal Capital Territory Abuja and Niger State. They and can be found in areas such as Gwandara, Bassa, Gade and Gana gana. Eighty five percent of the people are uneducated and living below poverty level. We work closely with various associations and women groups in the local communities to access economic empowerment programs, skills acquisition and gender equality
