If yes, explain in detail: Yes, A4ID found lawyers following a request from UNDP and UNOPS to deliver training on negotiating and drafting extractive sector contracts for officials in the Government of Rwanda.

Purpose of the organization: To support efforts to reduce global poverty and meet the aims of the Millennium Development Goals by ensuring that organisations working towards these aims are able to access free legal support in order to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of their programmes. In addition we also seek to increase awareness amongst the legal community of international development issues and the role they can play in ensuring the law is a tool, not a barrier, to development progress.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: A4ID provides access to free (pro bono) legal advice and assistance to any organisation furthering one or more of the UN MDGs and the eradication of poverty.
