If yes, explain in detail: GATE in collaboration with the Centre for Women Studies and Intervention (CWSI) impelemented a UNDP managed Joint Donor Basket fund for 2007 Election in Nigeria. The funding supported the implementation of the project Women Awake for Sustainable Action in seven States of North West Geo-Political Region of Nigeria. The project supported capacity building of women political aspirants, jounalist and other communit stakeholders and gatekeepers towards promoting women participation and action in the 2007 general election and beyond.
Affiliation with other organizations: GATE is a member of several CSO networks in Nigeria, these networks are those which promotes the ideals of the organisation both national, states and local governemnt levels in Nigeria.
Publications: Gender Dynamic in Nigerian Politics, published in 2008. Strenghtening Partnersip Interface y in Community Driven Development (CDD): publshed in 2010.
