Social Development

Affiliation with other organizations: AFFILIATIONS: (1)INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN TO ABOLISH NUCLEAR WEAPON (ICAN). Our association is in partnership with ICAN to canvass for the abolition of nuclear weapon and to ensure a violence free society without arms trading. ICAN is an organization with ECOSOC status with the United Nations. We are joining forces with each other to promote global peace and harmony and to provide a platform for dialogue among members countries of the United Nations. (2) International Peace Burea (IPB. The International Peace Burea, is in partnership with our association in area of promoting peace as its relate to making individuals become agent of change in their respective localities. And also to provide relief materials to countries that are affected with natural havoc likes flood and earthquakes. (3) PEACE DIRECT; Our association has just secured a partnership with Peace Director an association that is heavily loaded with the message of Peace. Our partnership with them is still in area of making peace achievable by all member countries of the United Nations. Most of our members are currently trained as On-Line Peace Volunteers of the United Nations Volunteers. Many Orphanage homes are currently enjoying affiliations with our association, Solace Place Foundation, Life Care Orphanage Homes, and David Ekpeme Foundation. Purpose of the organization: 1. To ensure the quick and possible gaining of global peace by supporting the ideals of the United Nations. 3.To provide the platform for dialogue and mediation to troubled countries of the world. 4. To promote communal peace and harmony and urban/rural understanding as the basis for inter-human co-existence. 5 To provide voluntary services for the protection of MDGs and NEPAD properties across the globe. 6. To provide free medical services to communities with the outbreak of treatable diseases with the awareness campaign on how to avert it. 7. To provide free installation of borehole water systems to developing countries of the world. 8. To engage local communities dwellers with dialogue as a means of resolving dispute instead of violence and crises. 9. To provide succour for the orphans, widows and vulnerable children. 10 To Support grassroots awareness for girl child education. 11. To enable UN achieve her 2015 MDGs goals. 12. To enable all interested NGOs with the United Nations have one voice for the peace of the world.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: RELEVANT PROGRAMMES EMBARKED BY OUR ASSOCIATION: Our Association has organized several programmes as its relate to the United Nations International Observance Days. 1. September 21sth 2012, International Peace Day Celebration in Port Harcourt, Venue, Rivers State Ministry of Justice, Nigeria. 2. March 21st 2013, International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in the world, Venue, Bayelsa State Government House Banquet Hall, Yenagoe, Nigeria. 3. 2013 June 23rd International Day for Widows, celebrated at Imo State Concord Hotels, Owerri, Nigeria. 4. 2013 Nov. 25th International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Venue, Kogi State Government House Banquet Hall, Nigeria. 5. Oct. 7th Celebration of NIGERIA/UN Strong Relationship at Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Women Affairs 2012. Since the 2014 and the beginning part of 2015, our association has been involved in many UN day celebration namely, 1. UN day celebration to mark the International Day of Non-Violence at Anambra State Nigeria 2. October 15th 2014 International Day of Hand-washing at Lagos State Nigeria. 3. 25th November 2014 celebration of United Nations Day for the elimination of Violence Against Women at Awka, Anambra State, whereas the wife of the governor of the state pledged to celebrate it yearly. 5. Nov. 29th 2014 celebration of United Nations Day of Solidarity for the Palestinian People at Lome, Togo 6. December Celebration of the United Nations Day of Anti-Corruption. 7. At South Africa we celebrated the United Nations Day of Cancer in February and presently at Togo we are also celebrating the International Day Against Child Labour. In Nigeria we have a whole lot of activities and not withstanding our event both at Kenya and Ghana respective. All our programmes before and after and advertise in our FACEBOOK and TWITTER account. What we do as earlier said is to raise awareness in all United Nations activities across the globe.
