We have conducted and have been partner organisation for numerous workshops at regional, national and international level paying special attention to people with fewer opportunities including people with mental and physical disabilities to raise their social inclusion and community tolerance towards these people. |

Assembly of the members is the highest decision-making body of the Association. All members of the Association are right to participate in Assembly of the members. Executive branch of the Association is the Board. The Board consist of 1 Chairman of the Board and 3 members of the Board out of whom 1 is the alternate to the Chairman of the Board. Chairman of the Board and an alternate to the Chairman of the Board are elected by the Board. All 4 Board Members are original Latvians and having Latvian citizenship. |
| Description of the membership of the organization, indicating the total number of members: |
Each capacitated individual aged over 14 is eligible for enrollment in the Association, as well as each legal person registered in the Republic of Latvia, who is interested in successful activity of the Association, by submitting written application to the Board. Decision about enrollment of the member is made by the Board. Application has to be signed by the applicant and by one of the members of the Association – guarantor. Commitments to abide the statute of the Association, to officiate decisions of the assembly of the members and the Board, to respect internal regulations of the Association, have to be affirmed in the application. The Board is obliged to review the application in the nearest meeting, but not later than 1 month from the date when all necessary documents have been received. Applicant has to be invited to the Board meeting when the application is considered to let the applicant to express his/her opinion. Absence of applicant is not an obstacle to make the decision. Written decision of the Board is delivered to the applicant within 1 week from the date when decision was made. Member can withdraw from the Association at any time, informing the Board about the decision in written form, after clearing off corresponding membership fees and other obligations. The Board is obliged to review the application in the nearest meeting, but not later than 1 month from the date when application have been received. Members have rights to take part in administration of the Association according to the Statue, to be informed about action of the Association - to review the documents regarding activities, decisions and orders of all institutions of the Association. Members have rights to take part in the events organized by the Association, to submit proposals regarding action of the Association and its improvement, to express his/her opinion. At the moment we have 50 members. Majority of them are representing people facing social exclusion and poverty and are from marginalized social groups living in rural areas in Latvia. |
