Purpose of the organization: Contribute to the promotion, protection and defense of human rights and the environment in the Democratic Republic of Congo in particular and in the Great Lakes region in general to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs)
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: Strengthen civil society organizations in the DRC on the inclusion of people living with disabilities in humanitarian and development actions.

Description of the membership of the organization, indicating the total number of members: The UPDDHE / GL has multidisciplinary, diversified and qualified personnel who contribute effectively to achieving the mission of the organization. The coordination office currently has 6 permanent staff, including a general coordinator, a program manager, a financial administrator, a cashier, a logistics and supply manager and a human resources manager. The organization also has 8 volunteer agents in the coordination office, including 1 program assistant responsible for human rights and gender, 1 program assistant responsible for good governance and peacebuilding, 1 program assistant responsible for education. and child / youth protection and a Program Assistant responsible for environmental protection. UPDDHE has 20 employees and 35 volunteers.
