If yes, explain in detail: UNDP. ACDI collaborates with the UNDP in different actions oriented towards solving environmental problems focusing on local communities´ development. The projects executed along with UNDP always included transversal elements such as environmental education, capacity-building and gender equity.
Affiliation with other organizations: "El Futuro está en el Monte’ (The Future is in the Forest) (http://www.elfuturoestaenelmonte.org) This is an initiative designed by ACDI together with other partners as AVINA Fundation, Fundación Gran Chaco, Potenciar Comunidades, Redes Chaco, Samsung Electronics, Fundación Banco Nación, Unilever and local and national public actors who share a common strategy for the Gran Chaco region. This strategy is focused on business models that promote a sustainable, competitive and inclusive development through the enhancement of natural and cultural capital, combining innovation with local knowledge. ‘Gran Chaco Proadap’ (http://www.granchacoproadapt.org) This is a network designed by the BID Lab, the Nordic Development Fund, ACDI, AVINA Fundation, Fundación Gran Chaco and the Bolivian NGO Nativa in order to take climate adaptation actions in one of the most climate vulnerable regions in South America: the Gran Chaco.

Social Development

Affiliation with other organizations: Together with the national state and different local partners as far es local NGO, local authorities and local institutions and actors (primary schools, high schools, technical institutes, and syndicates), ACDI developed two programmes called ‘Making Future’ and ‘Social Protection’ that are oriented to promote social development for vulnerable population in the north of Argentina. Both programs are designed to generate hard and soft skills, to facilitate labour opportunities and social inclusion. ‘Making Future’ is much more focused on job orientation, vocational training and job creation, building new capacities that are innovative and, at the same time, linked to traditional jobs (urban agriculture, sun and water efficient technologies, green walls, etc.) ‘Social Protection’ is concentrated on family and specially woman empowerment, together with food security and access to medical and social care.

Forests

Affiliation with other organizations: There are two national programmes in Argentina called ‘Native woods and community’ and ‘National plan to restore native woods - ForestAR 2030‘, that are promoted by the Ministry of Agroindustry and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. Their general objective is to restore 20 thousand hectares per year toward 2030 to contribute to national climate mitigation and adaptation strategy. Nowadays, ACDI in a developer of both programs in the Grand Chaco region, and their activities are concentrated on limiting deforestation and soil degradation by the implementation of forests sustainable management plans that benefit small farmers and native communities in the provinces of Chaco, Santiago del Estero, Salta, Jujuy and Misiones
