We are a member of Partnership Network (of CSOs) for Prevention of Violence Against Children in Turkey. Between 2016-2017 and 2017-2018, we served actively in the Network's Executive Committee. |
Purpose of the organization: |
DW supports industry-based solutions, local and national level policy interventions, conducting research and producing evidence for policy initiatives as well as engaging with advocacy efforts. DW’s approach is within a deeper focus on supply chain mapping, enforcing realisation of the roles and responsibilities of relevant institutions. DW also has intensive efforts for the realisation of international conventions for the fulfillment of global standards for human rights and child rights |

We are also member of CCRM-Cross Regional Center for Refugees and Migrants. Recently in December 2018 as an accrediated NGO we had attended Global Compact Adaptation Intergovernmental Conference in Marakech as a member of the Network. |

As a member of Partnership Network (of CSOs) for Prevention of Violence Against Children in Turkey, in which CSOs working in the field of child rights, human rights and women rights, time to time we are also involved in advancement and reporting of girl's and women's rights. In addition to participation, contribution or assistance of collective advocacy efforts, we try to provide/add data/findings from our field researches or local contacts. |

In this report, specific focus was given to violations girls and women are facing, as well as patriarchal attitudes and gender issues. Moreover, migrant women's life and their human rights is also questioned deeply. This report is the first research report dealing with such topics taht is published in Turkey. |
