In short, UPAC partnership character with the UN is defined by the Preamble of our Constitution: PREAMBLE - In line with the globalization trend and unification of our diversity; - Mindful of the increasing need to promote domestic and off-shore investment; - Mindful of the resolved to stem greed and societal iniquities that have plunged the world into an uncertain abyss; - Mindful of the determination to foster love, sincerity, fraternity and administrative fluency; - In a bargain to promote education and literacy in a community that is academic-driven, but abhorrent to reading; - Mindful of the need to develop a bracing brotherhood that is devoid of insensitivity and manipulation; - Mindful of the purport to build and sustain an apolitical community where real and human-filled development and democratization will kick-start; - Mindful of the need to promote women and youth empowerment so as to build a vibrant nation and civilization on the foundation of merit and equality; - Mindful of the insatiable quest and impact of education and sensitization of the people to robustly rise to the defence of their rights and nation-state; - Mindful of the need to partner with consortia of NGOs, Organizations and Inter-governmental organizations to jointly and briskly build a better world; - Mindful of the constant drive towards perfection and development which is more tenable through a unison of brotherhood and interdependence; - Mindful of the courage to communicate the policy objectives of the state so that real accountability and participation in state action could come forth; WE THE MEMBERS OF UPAC have resolved unequivocally: - To build a peaceable and enabling environment for investment and education, - To develop leadership capacity, - To thwart ignorance and give meaning to words, - To militate against social ills and bad governance, - To nurture hopes and sustain dreams, - To communicate the essence of life to be well-lived, - To bridge the widening gyre between diversity and literacy, - To promote democratic governance and soul democracy, - To protect and defence human and people’s rights, - To create and strengthen initiatives that support a state of justice, - To provide an avenue for the members of the Association in good standing to continue their fraternal affiliation eternally, - To support and contribute in the policy actions of the international community, - To contribute in the development and emboldening of the UNO, - To promote and assist members of the Association, - To identify potentials and culture them, - To create and support initiatives that empower our women and youths, - To advice on investment prospects and effect legal consultancy, - To create and support potentials that encourage power alteration in the state, - To unlock the corridor of cooperation between the Association, and other interested corporate Associations of professional and social repute, - To advance the Association’s presence nationally and internationally and to promote, advance and protect the reputation of the Association, - To strengthen and support the effectiveness, membership and activities of recognized affiliates and foster activity between them, - To boost education and environmental protection, - To nurture strengths and boost capacity building in our community, - To promote our cultural heritage and tradition in a society of diversity, - To support community-based civil societies and traditional groups, - To promote justice, objectivity and good faith within and without the Association, - To promote philanthropy and charitable endeavours.

Purpose of the organization: The cardinal ambition of UPAC Association is to create a one-stop shop aimed at stimulating and enhancing democratic governance, defence of human and people’s rights, ensure the respect of the rule of law and state of justice, promote investment, project management and socio-economic development, empowerment of women and youth, effect legal consultancy, carry out philanthropic and humanistic activities, create and strengthen community-based NGOs to foster development and democratic governance, and to support education, health and environmental protection. Fastidiously apolitical, UPAC, besides promoting development is a body for and of the people.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: THE PROGRAMMES ARE DESIGNED FOR 6 MONTHS FROM APRIL 2012 to OCTOBER 2012. THE ACTIVITIES ARE 100 SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS IN 10 REGIONS OF CAMEROON; CREATION AND REVITALIZATION OF COMMUNITY-BASED NGOS;SOCIO-CULTURAL MANIFESTATIONS AND SPORTING ACTIVITIES UNDER THE BANNER OF "UPAC DEMOCRACY WEEK".
