Social Development

Affiliation with other organizations: GRANTS. GOV
Purpose of the organization: To establish the first effective air and naval Search and Rescue system in Central America that will comply with all international standards. As coastal populations grow and seabound accidents increase, the lack of such a service becomes more pronounced. With the expansion to the Panama Canal and the increased traffic it will bring, we fear that there will be an accident that no one is prepared for, resulting in massive loss of life that could otherwise have been prevented. We also seek to proactively educate local enterprises in the appropriate safety procedures to reduce the chance of accidents.
