Social Development

Affiliation with other organizations: In order to carry out its social inclusion projects, the Organization has several public sector partnerships at the national level, such as Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Human Rights. Such as at the state and municipal level, with Prefectures and Secretaries of several areas, as well as Private Institutes and Foundations that have common goals.

Purpose of the organization: Our purpose is to be an Organization that offers transformative solutions to a more inclusive society.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: Prevention: The development of research and technological innovation in Neonatal Screening, treatment of diseases that if untreated can lead to the development of intellectual disability as is the case of phenylketonuria. Inclusion: Article 19 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities ensures "independent living and inclusion in society for all" present in all Services offered to persons with intellectual disabilities, valuing their potential and autonomy and guaranteeing the citizenship of each person. individual. Generation and dissemination of knowledge: The promotion of research, training of professionals, dissemination of relevant information about intellectual disability and continuous reflection of their care practice. Defense and Guarantee of Rights: The continuous exercise of advocacy, training of defense and rights advocates, representations in public and social policies and encouragement of self-defense of people with intellectual disabilities.
Confirmation of the activities of the organization at the regional, national or international level: The Organization develops processes at the local and regional level, with an impact throughout the State of São Paulo. Below are some projects that we have in current execution: - Project Defenders of the Rights of Children and Adolescents with Intellectual Disabilities. Objective: To strengthen the implementation of inclusive public policies of children and adolescents in the city of São Paulo. - Project to Guarantee Rights. Objective: To train and sensitize the actors of the network of protection and guarantee of rights regarding public and social policies aimed at children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities and to assist and guide in the social and psychosocial legal areas for people with intellectual disabilities and their families. - Social Inclusion Project of the Elderly Person with Intellectual Disability and Their Relatives. Objective: To train 100 health professionals through a partnership with 03 public equipments for elderly care, for the care of 75 Elderly people with intellectual disabilities and their families in the Central, South and West regions of the Municipality of São Paulo and who will contribute for the promotion of health, the strengthening of the protagonism, empowerment and the maintenance of the functionalities of these people.
